About The Position

This is a continuous recruitment posting to create a pool of candidates for future part-time Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer opportunities in the Food and Nutrition Program within the School of Health Sciences and Wellness at UW-Stevens Point. While there may not be an immediate need, applications are accepted to fill positions as they arise. Successful applicants will be considered for future opportunities on a per-course basis each semester, with no guarantee of assignment in subsequent semesters. Teaching loads will vary between 1-12 credits per semester. While the position is listed as on-site, partially remote opportunities may be available.

Requirements

• Registered dietitian nutritionist with a master’s degree
• Significant recent experience in clinical nutrition from diverse areas of practice
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
• Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
