Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer of Psychology– School of Behavioral and Social Sciences (Continuous Recruitment)
About The Position
This is a continuous recruitment posting for Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer of Psychology within the School of Behavioral and Social Sciences at UW-Stevens Point. Applications are accepted to create a pool for future part-time opportunities. Successful applicants will be considered for future teaching roles on a per-course basis each semester. Teaching one semester does not guarantee assignment in the following semester. The teaching load will vary between 1-12 credits per semester. While the position is listed as on-site, partially remote and remote opportunities may be available.
Requirements
- PhD, EdD, or PsyD from an accredited college or university. ABD considered.
- Experience with college level instruction.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with both face-to-face teaching and online instruction.
Responsibilities
- Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction.
- Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.
- Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations.
