About The Position

The Associate Integrated Design Manager (A-IDM) is an entry-level design management position for recent graduates and early-career professionals with 0–4 years of relevant experience who want to develop expertise in mission-critical facilities, design management, integrated project delivery, and project execution. Each A-IDM is directly partnered with and mentored by an Integrated Design Manager or Senior Integrated Design Manager. The role supports design coordination, information and document management, schedule and milestone tracking, stakeholder communication, project reporting, and process improvement throughout the project lifecycle, while developing technical, organizational, analytical, and leadership skills for progression within the Integrated Design Management organization. The A-IDM supports design execution from project initiation through turnover to Construction and Operations. The position coordinates with multiple technical disciplines and internal stakeholders, participates in design reviews and project meetings, and helps track project requirements, risks, milestones, permitting, submissions, and approvals. It also supports customer technical program discussions, site visits, project walkthroughs, and construction observation activities. The role includes research and analysis, continuous improvement, and responsible evaluation and use of AI-enabled tools, digital agents, automation, or basic coding for document control, reporting, and analysis. The position may require travel outside the home market up to 25 percent, with on-site time varying according to project needs. The work environment includes frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, and climbing; frequent use of hand and finger dexterity; and occasional work near moving mechanical parts. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
