About The Position

The Associate I, Textiles Production works primarily in a production environment sorting, hanging, pricing, and tagging donated textiles according to company quality standards and guidelines, preparing suitable items for sale on the sales floor. The role has minimum daily production quotas, and pay may increase based on the amount of textiles produced per hour. The associate may occasionally interact with customers and is expected to communicate responsively and provide excellent customer service. The position is part-time at the Castle Rock Store.

Requirements

• Attention to detail and the ability to make decisions.
• Ability to use basic technologies to follow company standards.
• Ability to use good judgment to assess textile quality and value, determine pricing, and research value as necessary.
• Ability to use a dolly and pallet jack as required.
• Ability to work a varied schedule that may include weekends, evenings, and holidays, with occasional overtime.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of retail experience preferred.
• Knowledge of clothing brands and quality.

Responsibilities

• Sort donated textiles by season, color, and product quality.
• Inspect textiles to ensure they are in saleable condition, including checking buttons and zippers.
• Hang, size, price, and tag textile items, then prepare them for sale by loading them onto Z-racks.
• Price items according to Goodwill standards for quality and value, researching item values online or using company tools and standards as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to fellow staff and customers, and answer product questions as needed.
• Follow all retail center policies, procedures, and safety processes.
• Cross-train in other departments and areas as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.
