About The Position

The Associate I, Retail Sales Floor ensures the sales floor is well stocked, organized, and presentable. The role involves assisting customers, responding to their questions, and providing excellent customer service. The associate also maintains the cleanliness of the sales floor and restrooms, supports product pricing and merchandising, and helps refresh the selection of products available to customers. The position is part-time and may require a varied schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and occasional overtime.

Nice To Haves

• One year of retail experience preferred.
• Visual merchandising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed productivity standards, expectations, and key performance indicators for assigned duties.
• Price products according to Goodwill standards for quality and value, researching items online or using company tools and standards when needed.
• Keep the sales floor clean and organized by cleaning shelves and racks, picking items up from the floor, putting away products from racks, carts, or baskets, and returning unwanted items to their proper places.
• Merchandise sales floor areas to standard by category, color, and size, and make decisions about product placement to improve the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
• Communicate targeted product needs for the sales floor to the manager on duty to assist production.
• Provide excellent service to staff and customers, follow the 10-foot rule, and answer product questions as needed.
• Rotate or remove old and unsold products from the sales floor in a timely manner to refresh the selection.
• Identify and pull E-Commerce products from the sales floor.
• Follow retail center policies, procedures, and safety processes.
• Cross-train in other departments or areas and provide backup support as required.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the sales floor and restrooms.
