About The Position

The Associate I, Retail Sales Floor ensures the sales floor is stocked, organized, clean, and presentable. The role involves interacting with customers, responding to their needs, and providing excellent customer service. The associate also maintains the cleanliness of sales-floor areas and restrooms.

This is a part-time position. The schedule may vary and may include weekends, evenings, holidays, and occasional overtime. The posted pay rate is $16.51 per hour. The position is eligible for DailyPay. Part-time employees in the Retail and Sales/Operations Division are eligible for paid holidays, sick leave, jury duty, and bereavement leave. Employees may contribute to the retirement plan on a pre-tax or post-tax (Roth) basis; participation requires being at least 18 years old. Goodwill of Colorado is a Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligible employer.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of retail experience.
• Prior visual merchandising experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed productivity standards, expectations, and key performance indicators for assigned duties.
• Price items according to Goodwill standards of quality and value, researching item values online or using company tools and standards when needed.
• Keep the sales floor clean and organized by cleaning shelves and racks, picking up items, and putting away products from racks, carts, baskets, and returns.
• Merchandise sales-floor areas to standards, including categorizing, colorizing, and sizing products, and flexing product placement to improve the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
• Communicate targeted sales-floor needs to the manager on duty to assist production.
• Provide excellent service to customers and staff, follow the 10-foot rule, and answer product questions.
• Rotate or remove old or unsold products in a timely manner to refresh product selection.
• Identify and pull e-commerce products from the sales floor.
• Follow retail center policies, procedures, and safety processes.
• Cross-train in other departments or areas and provide backup as required.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.
