About The Position

The Associate I, Retail Sales Floor ensures the sales floor is stocked with products in an organized and presentable manner. The associate interacts with customers, responds to their questions, and provides excellent customer service. The role also includes maintaining the cleanliness of the sales floor and restrooms, merchandising products to standards, and supporting other departments as required. The position is part-time at the Arvada store and requires weekday availability. Schedules may vary and can include weekends, evenings, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of retail experience preferred.
• Prior visual merchandising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed productivity standards and key performance indicators for assigned duties.
• Price products according to Goodwill standards for quality and value, researching items online or using company tools and standards when appropriate.
• Keep the sales floor clean and organized by cleaning and organizing shelves and racks, picking up items, putting away products from racks, carts, or baskets, and returning unwanted items to their proper places.
• Merchandise sales floor areas according to standards for category, color, and size; make decisions about flexing product to improve the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
• Communicate targeted sales-floor product needs to the manager on duty to assist production.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff and customers, follow the 10-foot rule, and answer product questions as needed.
• Rotate or remove old or unsold products from the sales floor in a timely manner to refresh selection.
• Identify and pull e-commerce products from the sales floor.
• Follow retail center policies, procedures, and safety processes.
• Cross-train in other departments or areas and provide backup as required.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the sales floor and restrooms.
