Associate Faculty for Life & Physical Science (Remote)
About The Position
Post University is seeking qualified, dynamic educators to join its pool of part-time Associate Faculty in the Program of Life and Physical Science. Faculty will teach undergraduate courses online, supporting student success in the B.S. in Biology and B.S. in Health Science programs and delivering foundational general education coursework for non-science majors. The role is fully remote, but work may not be performed from Alaska, California, Hawaii, or New York; candidates must be physically located and work from an approved state. The rate of pay is $2,305 per course taught per semester. Teaching needs include chemistry, physics, biological sciences, health sciences, and public health and administration courses. Courses may be offered online and/or on the main campus, depending on the subject area.
Requirements
- A master’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline or closely related field is required.
- Prior professional teaching experience is required.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Nice To Haves
- Ph.D. preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction aligned with university learning outcomes across online (Blackboard Ultra) and/or main campus modalities.
- Evaluate student coursework, maintain accurate academic records, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Support student retention and academic success through dedicated communication and accessibility.
