Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3-5 years in corporate retail or wholesale business environment, with eCommerce experience
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong analytical background and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with ability to function independently but also a strong team player
  • Ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Hands-on experience with retailer vendor portals and item setup / content syndication workflows
  • Comfort pulling and interpreting data from retailer reporting platforms (e.g., Lowe’s Vendor Gateway, Home Depot Supplier Analytics)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Willingness to learn, accept constructive criticism and adapt quickly
  • Clear written, verbal and in-person communication skills, with comfort collaborating across internal teams and external partners
  • Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment, with a passion for problem solving
  • Experience in extensive consumer product catalogs, preferably soft/home goods

Responsibilities

  • Support Day-to-Day Account Management & Customer Relationships
  • Contribute to the strategic growth plan for the assigned account portfolio, translating category and customer trends into annual sales and margin targets.
  • Own recurring weekly and monthly sales reporting across assigned accounts, tracking performance against targets so the team can course-correct before quarter close.
  • Monitor items with no weekly selling data and diagnose root causes (e.g., suppressed listings, out-of-stocks, content gaps) so lost sales are recovered quickly.
  • Prepare and present monthly business reviews, turning raw customer performance data into a clear read on what is working and where to invest next.
  • Keep the eComm customer list and account-manager mapping current.
  • Establish close, professional relationships with buying teams and category partners to get competitive and category insight, as well as maximize our opportunities and partnerships.
  • Maintain & Optimize eCommerce Catalog Presentation
  • Manage new item setup end-to-end, from creation through launch, partnering with digital merchandising so new products are fully merchandised on time.
  • Maintain the item setup tracker to deliver cross-functional visibility to the active catalog for each account.
  • Monitor content health and correct gaps in product detail page copy, imagery, and enhanced content.
  • Maintain accurate product cross-references and catalog data across internal systems so pricing and availability stay accurate at every point of sale.
  • Support price vs. sales order/invoice reviews and flag discrepancies.
  • Complete and submit suppression/inactivation documentation as needed.
  • Support Promotional Activity
  • Maintain the promotional calendar activity log so marketing, planning, and operations can properly support committed events.
  • Execute against the customer promotional calendar, hitting all submission deadlines so funded events are never forfeited.
  • Recap promotional performance and post-event results, and recommend adjustments that improve return on promotional spend for the next event.
  • Prepare incremental funding request packages and submit item launch and transition requests.
  • Own promotional chargeback reconciliation, running the cost differential on each funded event and reviewing with the Head of eCommerce to confirm deductions match agreed terms and dispute those that do not.
  • Competitive Market Awareness
  • Perform online comp shopping to benchmark competitor price, assortment, and content quality, informing account-specific assortment and pricing recommendations.
