Associate Director, Infrastructure & Information Security

The Associate Director of Infrastructure and Information Security will play a crucial role in growing the Beam business by designing, implementing, and supporting high-performing and secure solutions. They will be responsible for shaping and maturing Beam's Information Security program and serving as the primary subject matter expert for Infrastructure and Platform as a Service solutions such as AWS and Azure. This role offers a unique opportunity to build from the ground up and make an immediate impact on Beam's ability to provide life-long cures to patients suffering from serious diseases.

• Manage the Beam Information Security Awareness Program
• Be the thought leader and SME for virtual networking architecture (AWS, Azure)
• Define, implement, manage, and monitor AWS cloud-based systems for availability, performance and security.
• Develop and maintain cloud network configuration and network diagrams.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions for network and architecture.
• Perform cyber-security related analysis such as phishing email reviews, AV/EDR analysis, and access reviews.
• Support physical infrastructure in Beam office locations (firewalls, switches, routers, WAPs).
• Support existing physical server footprint.
• Support virtual data center architecture with key integration partners.
• Support computer systems validation activities related to the network and architecture.

• Experience managing an Information Security Awareness Program
• Expertise in virtual networking architecture, specifically AWS and Azure
• Ability to define, implement, manage, and monitor AWS cloud-based systems for availability, performance, and security
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining cloud network configuration and network diagrams
• Knowledge of developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions for network and architecture
• Experience in performing cyber-security related analysis, such as phishing email reviews, AV/EDR analysis, and access reviews
• Ability to support physical infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, and WAPs
• Familiarity with supporting existing physical server footprint
• Knowledge of supporting virtual data center architecture with key integration partners
• Understanding of computer systems validation activities related to the network and architecture
