About the position
The QC Senior Analyst, Analytical Methods will be responsible for supporting critical analytical method implementation workstreams in a new Quality Control laboratory. This includes tasks such as analytical instrument qualification, reagent management, execution of technical protocols, and implementation of programs and procedures. The role will involve maintaining and operating analytical instrumentation, analyzing data, investigating out of specification results, and collaborating with peers. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will be involved in training and supporting less experienced QC Analysts, as well as drafting and reviewing technical documents. A Bachelor's degree in a life science discipline and at least 3 years of relevant experience are required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate analytical instrumentation for flow cytometry and other bioassays.
- Analyze data and interpret data within given parameters.
- Investigate out of specification or unexpected results and study outcomes.
- Escalate and assist in the resolution of complex issues.
- Independently develop, author, and execute protocols, reports, and other related documents.
- Communicate effectively with peers and demonstrate collaboration across different functions.
- Support the implementation and execution of training programs and processes for less experienced QC Analysts.
- Draft and review technical documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a life science discipline
- 3+ years relevant experience
- Advanced hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation for flow cytometry and other bioassays
- Ability to analyze and interpret data within given parameters
- Experience investigating out of specification or unexpected results and study outcomes
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to assist in the resolution of complex issues
- Ability to independently develop, author, and execute protocols, reports, and other related documents
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with peers and across different functions
- Experience supporting the implementation and execution of training programs and processes for less experienced QC Analysts
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing technical documents
