About The Position

The Associate Director, Enterprise Applications will lead the strategy, implementation, support, and evolution of the enterprise application landscape for Menarini Stemline’s oncology business. The role oversees core platforms including SAP ERP, human resources systems, SAP Concur, and systems supporting Finance, Legal, Procurement, and other enabling functions. It connects business strategy with technology execution, ensuring systems can support the organization’s growth from clinical development through commercialization while meeting compliance requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
At least 10 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing enterprise applications.
Hands-on SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA) expertise in at least two functional areas: FI/CO, MM, SD, or HR/HCM.
Ownership experience with SAP Concur or a comparable travel and expense platform, including end-to-end configuration and finance integration.
Experience leading HRIS implementations or major upgrades using Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or an equivalent platform.
Strong background in system integrations, middleware, and API-driven architectures such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or SAP Integration Suite.
Demonstrated delivery of large-scale, cross-functional ERP or enterprise application programs in a regulated industry.
Working knowledge of SOX ITGC compliance, change management controls, and IT audit support.
Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and business-partnership skills.

Nice To Haves

MBA or other advanced degree.
Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments, including familiarity with GxP and Computer System Validation practices.
SAP Certified Application Associate or Professional designation.
Exposure to ERP vendor evaluation and RFP processes.
PMP or SAFe Agile certification.

Responsibilities

Define and execute a multi-year enterprise applications roadmap aligned with the company’s scaling objectives.
Partner with executive stakeholders in Finance, HR, Legal, Procurement, and Supply Chain to understand requirements and deliver scalable technology solutions.
Manage Enterprise Applications capital and operating expense budgets and optimize the return on software investments.
Represent Stemline business needs with the Menarini Corporate IT SAP Center of Excellence and manage the Stemline Change Advisory Board.
Lead optimization, lifecycle management, and support of the SAP ERP ecosystem, coordinating with the SAP Center of Excellence to maintain enterprise standards.
Oversee corporate systems including HRIS, SAP Concur, and procurement platforms.
Promote integration standards that support secure, seamless data flows across corporate systems and cloud platforms.
Partner with business intelligence teams to support reliable reporting and actionable analytics from enterprise applications.
Ensure financial and corporate systems comply with SOX, internal controls, and data privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure applicable systems comply with GxP validation and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
Partner with Information Security to enforce access controls, vulnerability management, and data protection across corporate applications.
Manage strategic vendor and systems integrator relationships, including contract negotiations, service-level agreements, and software renewals.
