About The Position

42 North Dental is hiring an Associate Dentist for an established practice with a strong flow of new patients each month. The dentist is responsible for the complete clinical patient experience, from the initial examination and treatment planning through delivery of care. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Requirements

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA).
Current state license to practice dentistry.
Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
Proof of malpractice insurance.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.

Responsibilities

Promote oral health and disease prevention.
Diagnose oral diseases.
Educate patients about oral health and treatment options.
Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patients’ oral health and review treatment plan options with patients.
Review, maintain, and update patients’ medical and dental records.
Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
Monitor the growth and development of teeth and jaws.
Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
Maintain high standards of care, ethics, and professionalism.
Stay current with developments, technologies, best practices, and standards of care through continuing education and professional development.
