About The Position

42 North Dental is hiring an Associate Dentist for an established practice with a strong flow of new patients each month. The Dentist is responsible for the entire clinical patient experience, from the initial examination and treatment plan through delivery of care. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. The role offers compensation of up to 36% of collections and an annual rate of $150,000–$250,000 USD. The practice offers access to continuing education and opportunities to attend free CE events through the Harvard Rounds Network.

Requirements

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA).
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patients’ oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain, and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor the growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide appropriate restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices, and standards of care through continuing education and professional development.
