About The Position

Ramboll is hiring an entry-level Air Quality Consultant for its offices in Los Angeles or Irvine, California, or Phoenix, Arizona. The position is part of the Air & Climate Service Line in the Environment & Health Division. The team advises clients across industries on air and climate issues, including emissions estimation, air dispersion modeling, human health risk assessment, climate change, permitting, and compliance. The role is suited to a detail-oriented, self-motivated team player who applies analytical skills and is interested in developing a career in air quality consulting.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; sponsorship is not available. The anticipated base salary is $64,404 to $80,505 per year. Compensation may vary by location and other factors, and the position may be eligible for bonus, overtime, or other compensation. Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, or a science degree with air quality coursework.
• Strong computing skills, including advanced use of spreadsheets and word processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organization skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret environmental regulations.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare emissions calculations.
• Conduct air quality reviews of emissions reduction or control.
• Assist in preparing major and minor source permit applications and environmental impact reports.
• Critically review and interpret local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
