About The Position

Ramboll is seeking an entry-level Air Quality Consultant for its offices in Los Angeles or Irvine, California, or Phoenix, Arizona. The position is part of the Air & Climate Service Line within the Environment & Health Division. The team advises clients across industries on topics such as emissions estimation, air dispersion modeling, human health risk assessment, climate change, permitting, and compliance. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; sponsorship is unavailable. The position offers a base salary range of $58,416 to $73,020 per year, with potential eligibility for bonus, overtime, or other compensation, as well as a comprehensive benefits package. Compensation may vary by location and individual factors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering; Environmental Science; Atmospheric Science; or a science discipline with air quality coursework.
• Strong computing skills, including advanced use of spreadsheets and word processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret environmental regulations.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare emissions calculations.
• Conduct air quality reviews of emissions reductions or controls.
• Assist with preparing major and minor source permit applications and environmental impact reports.
