About The Position

Ramboll is seeking an entry-level Air Quality Consultant to join its Air & Climate Service Line within the Environment & Health Division. The position is based in the Los Angeles or Irvine, California, or Phoenix, Arizona offices. The team advises clients in various industries on issues including emissions estimation, air dispersion modeling, human health risk assessment, climate change, permitting, and compliance. The role involves preparing emissions calculations, reviewing emissions reduction or control, helping prepare permit applications and environmental impact reports, and interpreting environmental regulations. Ramboll supports employees’ personal and professional development and offers flexibility as part of its inclusive approach to work. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; sponsorship is unavailable.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering; Environmental Science; Atmospheric Science; or a science degree with air quality coursework.
• Strong computing skills, including high-level use of spreadsheets and word processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organization skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret environmental regulations.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare emissions calculations.
