About The Position
Ramboll is seeking an entry-level Air Quality Consultant to join its Air & Climate Service Line within the Environment & Health Division. The team advises clients across industries on topics including emissions estimation, air dispersion modeling, human health risk assessment, climate change, permitting, and compliance. The role is based in the Los Angeles or Irvine, California, or Phoenix, Arizona offices. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering; Environmental Science; Atmospheric Science; or a science discipline with air quality coursework.
- Strong computing skills, including advanced use of spreadsheets and word-processing software.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret environmental regulations.
Nice To Haves
- Database skills.
- GIS skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare emissions calculations.
- Conduct air quality reviews of emissions reduction or control.
- Assist in preparing major and minor source permit applications and environmental impact reports.
- Review and interpret local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
