About The Position

Ramboll is seeking an entry-level Air Quality Consultant to join its Air & Climate Service Line within the Environment & Health Division. The team consults with clients across various industries on air and climate topics, including emissions estimation, air dispersion modeling, human health risk assessment, climate change, permitting, and compliance. The role is based in the Los Angeles or Irvine, California, or Phoenix, Arizona offices. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; sponsorship is not available. The position offers an anticipated annual base salary of $64,404 to $80,505, with possible eligibility for bonus, overtime, or other compensation. Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, or a science degree with air quality coursework.
• Strong computing skills, including high-level use of spreadsheets and word processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organization skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret environmental regulations.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare emissions calculations.
• Conduct air quality reviews of emissions reduction or control.
• Assist in preparing major and minor source permit applications and environmental impact reports.
• Critically review and interpret local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
