About The Position

Lakeshirts is seeking a strategic, driven Associate Brand Manager to lead marketing strategy, positioning, and brand expression for resort brands Yesterdays, EMI-TGT, and Lakeshirts. The role elevates the company’s brand presence across destination and outdoor lifestyle markets and supports community engagement. Working closely with Sales, Product, Creative Directors, retail partners, and other stakeholders, the Associate Brand Manager develops tailored go-to-market strategies and helps deliver clear, creative, and competitive brand experiences through email marketing, catalogs, photoshoots, content creation, partner communications, retail marketing, and community initiatives. This role combines brand strategy with hands-on execution. It owns and evolves brand strategy, positioning, voice, and seasonal go-to-market plans; leads campaign and sales-enablement materials through planning and approval; manages B2B email campaigns and evaluates performance; and develops external and internal communications. The position also supports retail environments, trade-show materials, social media, events, and onsite activations. It manages incoming marketing requests, applicable licensing approvals, and success measures for catalogs and campaigns, using Monday.com and emerging AI tools to improve planning and execution. It does not design products, manage SKU setup or inventory processes, directly manage trade shows, or function solely as a production-level project manager. The position is onsite at Lakeshirts headquarters in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional travel is required.

  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically, prioritize competing requests, and manage multiple timelines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Clear and confident written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate without direct authority.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Comfort learning Monday.com, analytics tools, AI-enabled marketing tools, and related marketing technology.
