About The Position

As an Associate Banker at Chase, you represent the company’s brand and culture by combining hospitality, banking solutions, financial technology, and attentive service. You contribute to branch success by delivering exceptional client experiences, building trusted relationships, sharing product knowledge and solutions, and helping clients work toward their financial goals. The role is part-time for 20 hours at the Loves Park Branch in Loves Park, Illinois.

• Ability to learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately.
• Client service experience or comparable experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients as they enter the branch and provide attentive, friendly service that makes them feel welcomed and cared for.
• Use a tablet to manage lobby traffic, check clients into the waiting queue, and schedule or cancel client meetings.
• Provide account servicing and maintenance and open new accounts while complying with policies, procedures, and regulatory and banking requirements.
• Educate and assist clients with day-to-day banking transactions and technology self-service options, including the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs.
• Build client relationships by listening actively, asking thoughtful questions, demonstrating empathy, and sharing product knowledge and solutions; partner with branch team members to help clients achieve financial goals.
• Perform branch operations, which may include managing cash devices such as the cash vault and ATM, in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
