About The Position

This role involves creating and analyzing financial models, organizing and preparing client presentations, overseeing transaction processes, and assisting in structuring transactions primarily for companies in the Industrials sector. The position requires developing financial models, performing customized company valuation analysis, and assisting with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions and fixed income and equity issuances. Responsibilities include organizing and preparing presentations on industry trends, assessing client situations to provide financial advice, and recommending strategies to meet client goals. The role also entails conducting detailed financial analysis on companies to assess investment opportunities, coordinating with tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers, leading due diligence processes, participating in negotiations of legal documentation, and engaging with management to build relationships and gather information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Two (2) years of experience in job offered or a related role
  • Two (2) years of experience with developing and reviewing financial models including operating models, M&A, discounted cash flow, or leveraged buyouts
  • Two (2) years of experience producing client reports using market data analyses, leveraging electronic data sources including Bloomberg, FactSet, or Capital IQ
  • Two (2) years of experience analyzing company data, including strategic operating plans, documentation of live transactions, regulatory filings, annual reports, and other public disclosures
  • Two (2) years of experience performing credit analysis, including analyzing a company’s financial position, evaluating historical cashflow, assessing the maturity profile of total borrowings and the ability to refinance in the future
  • Two (2) years of experience executing debt and equity financing (including IPO) transactions, and public and private M&A (buyside and sell-side) transactions
  • Two (2) years of experience presenting to senior management and board members on corporate strategy and financing alternatives
