About The Position

Auction.com is hiring a part-time Associate Auction Coordinator to represent the company at live real estate auctions, traditionally held at courthouse steps. The coordinator conducts, co-hosts, or otherwise participates in auctions, interacts with bidders, completes auction-related tasks, and helps customers understand how to participate. The role involves welcoming attendees, providing customer service, and helping ensure pre-auction requirements and event processes are completed accurately. The primary territory is Fairfax, Virginia, with travel to courthouse auctions in surrounding areas, sometimes up to two hours away. A rental car is provided for travel outside the primary territory; regular travel to event locations in the employee’s personal vehicle is also noted. Managers assign daily auctions based on scheduling needs, so the schedule must be flexible. Auctions run Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; each auction day typically involves three to four hours of work. The position averages six to ten hours weekly, though hours fluctuate and are not guaranteed. Required in-person and Zoom training, team calls, and other learning resources are provided, with opportunities to earn additional compensation.
