About The Position

The Associate Auction Coordinator represents Auction.com at live real estate auctions, traditionally held on courthouse steps. The role involves conducting, co-hosting, and otherwise participating in auctions; interacting with bidders; completing the tasks and processes needed to run auctions; and educating customers about participating in auctions. The position serves the Roanoke, Virginia territory, with travel to courthouse auctions in surrounding areas as needed, sometimes up to two hours away. A rental car is provided for travel outside the primary territory. The Area/State Manager assigns daily auctions according to scheduling needs, so the role requires a flexible and adaptable schedule. Auctions take place Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Each auction day typically involves three to four hours of work. The position averages six to ten hours per week, though hours fluctuate and are not guaranteed. Required in-person and Zoom training, team calls, and other development resources are also part of the role.
