About The Position

Morrison Mahoney LLP is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing litigation team. Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.
• 5-7 years of prior civil litigation experience.
• Experience in both Massachusetts state and federal courts.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Experience leading discovery.
• Self-starter with strong advocacy skills.
• Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
• Ability to perform legal research.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload from start to finish, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Meet critical deadlines and drive matters forward.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with partners, clients, and experts.
• Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients, providing status updates and strategic guidance.
• Contribute to case strategy through legal research and well-crafted memoranda.
• Work with partners on complex, high-value matters.
• Sharpen litigation skills and expand courtroom experience.
