About The Position

Morrison Mahoney LLP is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney to join its Medical Malpractice Defense / Long-Term Care Facilities litigation team. Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.
3-5 years of prior civil litigation experience.
Experience in both Massachusetts state and federal courts.
Experience taking and defending depositions and leading discovery.
Self-starter with strong advocacy skills.
Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
Ability to perform legal research.

Responsibilities

Manage a diverse caseload from start to finish.
Draft status reports, pleadings, motions, and discovery.
Meet critical deadlines and drive matters forward.
Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
Develop litigation strategies.
Work closely with clients, experts, and colleagues.
Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients, including providing status updates and strategic guidance.
Contribute to case strategy through legal research and memoranda.
Work with partners on complex, high-value matters.
