Treaty Oak is seeking an Associate, Accounting to support the day-to-day accounting operations of the Company, including transaction processing, reconciliations, and close support. This role is designed for early-career professionals seeking experience in a complex, multi-entity accounting environment within a high-growth renewable energy platform. The Associate will partner with other functions, including Corporate Finance & Compliance, FP&A, Tax, and Project Finance, to ensure accurate data flow, and will contribute to process improvement and standardization efforts as the business scales.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of accounting experience (including public accounting or relevant industry experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to multi-entity or project-based accounting environments

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or interest in pursuing a CPA a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare journal entries and support monthly close procedures
  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances
  • Assist with accounts payable processing and related workflows
  • Support tracking and recording of project-related transactions
  • Maintain organized documentation to support audits and internal controls
  • Assist in preparation of schedules and audit support materials
  • Partner with other functions (e.g., FP&A, treasury) to ensure accurate data flow
  • Contribute to process improvements and standardization efforts
