About The Position
Wichita Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to assist with administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician and under the direction of the department director. Medication administration must follow applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as direction from the department director or supervisor, to maintain high-quality care. The role advances the value that residents come first, treats the Community as the residents’ home, helps create a sense of home, and models person-centered care. The position is part-time and offers evening hours. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour, with shift and weekend differentials under the Premium Pay Plan and additional pay based on experience.
Requirements
- Hold a current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certificate in accordance with state law.
Responsibilities
- Assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician and under the department director’s direction.
- Follow applicable federal, state, and local medication-administration standards, guidelines, and regulations, along with instructions from the department director or supervisor.
- Help maintain the highest degree of quality care.
