About The Position
Emporia Presbyterian Manor is seeking an Assisted Living Services Certified Medication Aide/Certified Medication Technician to support residents in an assisted living community. The role assists with administering medications as ordered by the attending physician and under the direction of the department director. Medication administration must comply with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as directions from the department director or supervisor, to maintain quality care. The employee advances a resident-first approach, recognizes the Community as residents’ home, helps create a homelike environment, and models person-centered care. Requirements
- Hold a current Certified Medication Aide certificate in accordance with state laws.
Responsibilities
- Assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician and under the direction of the department director.
- Follow applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the Community, along with direction from the department director or supervisor.
- Help maintain the highest degree of quality care.
- Put residents first, treat the Community as residents’ home, help create attributes of home, and model person-centered care.
