Assisted Living Svcs Director-RN
About The Position
The Assisted Living Director - Registered Nurse (RN) plans, organizes, and directs the overall operation of the Assisted Living Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the community. The director also follows direction from the Executive Director, Director of Nursing, and Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained. The role advances the value that residents come first, treats the community as the residents’ home, creates attributes of home, and models person-centered care.
Requirements
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or graduation from an approved RN program.
- Current active license to practice as an RN in the state.
- Previous experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care community, or other related healthcare facility.
Nice To Haves
- Previous geriatric nursing experience.
