CNA/CMA - Assisted Living
About The Position
Provide compassionate, resident-centered care to older adults in Pitman Manor’s assisted living neighborhood. Support residents with personal care and daily routines, observe and report changes in their condition, document assigned information, and work with nurses, caregivers, residents, and families to promote comfort and well-being. This is a part-time, day-shift position working every other weekend in Pitman, New Jersey. Pay is $23.30–$24.80 per hour, based on experience, with the rate depending on whether the employee works as a CNA or Certified Medication Aide. The role requires a drug test, background check, and flu vaccine; medical and religious exemptions from the flu vaccine may be requested.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Active New Jersey CNA certification or active New Jersey Medication Aide certification.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Applicants must be able to produce a negative drug test; applicants may be subject to a background check.
- Employees must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position; reasonable accommodations may be provided upon request.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility needs.
- Observe residents and report changes in condition to the nursing team.
- Take and document vital signs and other assigned resident information.
- Assist with meals, hydration, and daily routines to promote comfort and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate updates with the care team.
- Build positive relationships with residents and families while providing compassionate care.
- Partner with nurses and caregivers to deliver quality, resident-centered support.
