About The Position
Pitman Manor, a United Methodist Communities senior living community in Pitman, New Jersey, is hiring a CNA or Certified Medication Aide to care for older adults in its assisted living neighborhood. The role provides resident-centered support and involves working with residents, families, nurses, and caregivers. The schedule is part-time, on the day shift every other weekend. Pay is $23.30–$24.80 per hour, based on experience and certification. Applicants must complete a questionnaire; the role requires a drug test, background check, and flu vaccine, with medical and religious exemptions available for the flu vaccine. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Active New Jersey CNA certification or active New Jersey Medication Aide certification.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Applicants must be able to produce a negative drug test and may be subject to a background check.

Responsibilities
- Support residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility needs.
- Observe residents and report changes in condition to the nursing team.
- Take and document vital signs and other assigned resident information.
- Assist with meals, hydration, and daily routines to promote resident comfort and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate updates with the care team.
- Build positive relationships with residents and families while providing compassionate care.
- Partner with nurses and caregivers to deliver quality, resident-centered support.
