About The Position

LakePoint Wichita is hiring a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to care for patients and residents in an assisted living setting. The role involves medication administration and treatments, documentation, and supporting residents with activities and daily living. This is a full-time, in-person position in Wichita, Kansas, with an overnight shift and rotating weekends. The listed pay is $18.00–$20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) credential in Kansas.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Ability to commute to Wichita, KS 67203, or relocate there before starting work.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications and provide treatments according to physician orders, facility policy, and the CMA’s scope of practice.
• Document care in the electronic medical record and/or other medical record systems.
• Notify appropriate individuals when medications need to be refilled.
• Prepare discontinued and expired medications for daily return to the pharmacy.
• Set up, encourage, transport residents to, and directly participate in activities tailored to residents’ interests.
• Perform other duties as required.
