About The Position

Rock Creek of Ottawa is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to support residents with medication delivery and patient care. The role involves working with nurses and following medication instructions while documenting doses and administration times. The facility emphasizes compassionate, team-oriented care and a supportive, inclusive work environment.

Two schedules are available: 2 p.m.–10 p.m. Monday through Friday, or 6 p.m.–6 a.m. Friday through Sunday. The stated pay range is $18–$21 per hour. Benefits eligibility for some benefits depends on full-time employment status.

Requirements

• CNA certification is required.
• Medication Aide Certificate (CMA) is required.
• Customer-service attitude.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine prescription and non-prescription medications to patients.
• Coordinate with nurses to assist with patient care and medications.
• Follow written or verbal instructions for managing medications.
• Record medication dosages and administration times.
• Respond to patient call signals to identify their needs.
• Perform duties in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company standards.
