About The Position

The Malvern School is seeking a full-time Assistant Teacher for its Toddler classroom at the Robbinsville school. The role assists with implementing the school's Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and philosophy, maintaining a safe, healthy, and educational classroom environment, and communicating regularly with parents in person and through technology. The school describes its approach as innovative, child-centered, and aligned with or exceeding NAEYC standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2,500 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility; or 15 relevant college credits or a CDA and at least 1,250 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and the Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents, in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding parent expectations.
