About The Position

The Malvern School is seeking a full-time Assistant Teacher for the Toddler classroom at its Voorhees school. The role supports the implementation of the school’s Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and its educational philosophy. The Assistant Teacher helps maintain a safe, healthy, and educational classroom environment and communicates regularly with parents in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding their expectations. The position is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• High school diploma and must be at least 18 years of age.
• Either at least 2,500 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility, or 15 relevant college credits (or a CDA) and at least 1,250 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.
• Passion for Early Childhood Education.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and the Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding parent expectations.
