About The Position

The Malvern School is seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented Assistant Teacher for the Toddler classroom at its Marlboro school. This full-time position is Monday through Friday. The role supports the implementation of the school’s Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and the Malvern School philosophy, helps maintain a safe, healthy, and educational classroom environment, and communicates regularly with parents in person and through technology to meet or exceed their expectations.

Its curriculum is designed to meet or exceed National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma and must be at least 18 years of age.
• Either at least 2,500 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility, or 15 relevant college credits (or a CDA) and at least 1,250 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and the Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding parent expectations.
