About The Position

Vivvi is reinventing child care and early learning for today’s families, while creating opportunities for teachers and caregivers to pursue professional growth and development. The Assistant Teacher supports classroom operations and helps ensure each child feels safe, nurtured, and inspired to explore. The role serves infant, toddler, and preschool-aged children, supports progressive, inquiry-based learning, and involves engaging children through positive language, loving care, and interactive play. The Assistant Teacher closely supervises children and maintains health and safety standards. Applicants must be based in or willing to relocate to New York and possess independent U.S. work authorization. The position involves extended periods of sitting and standing, bending at the waist, reaching overhead, and frequently moving or lifting children weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted. Requirements

Have 1–2 years of experience working with children ages 0–5.
Be a flexible, communicative team player passionate about early learning.
Value and create trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Be CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to become certified.
Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Be based in or willing to relocate to New York.
Possess independent U.S. work authorization.

Nice To Haves

Hold or be pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; this is not required to apply.
