About The Position

As a Casino Cashier Representative, you will process accurate monetary transactions for guests and internal departments while providing exceptional guest service. You will promote MGM Rewards programs and ensure interactions are handled efficiently and professionally. The role requires upholding regulatory requirements and company policies to support a seamless and trustworthy gaming experience.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with transactions in accordance with Casino credit policies and specified guidelines, including marker payments, deposits, withdrawals, and chip bank duties such as Fills and Credits to the Pit and Cage.
• Protect company assets throughout the shift, including cash, chips, and tokens.
• Promote and educate guests about the MGM Rewards program, MyVegas rewards program, and MGM Rewards Mastercard program, and encourage enrollment.
• Issue FREEPLAY and complimentary play coupons, and adjust tier credits upon guest request in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Escalate guest complaints to the Casino Cage Shift Supervisor and respond to guest inquiries about the property and local area.
• Follow the Company AML/Suspicious Activity policy and notify a Supervisor of unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft; promote responsible gaming and GameSense to guests.
• Balance appropriate Cage banks with supervision at the end of the shift in accordance with departmental variance policy, and complete reports and forms accurately in compliance with Title 31.
