About The Position

As a Cage Cashier at Poteau Casino Too, you will pay out winning gaming machine tickets, chips, and tokens to customers. You will handle large sums of money and must follow casino procedures exactly. The position reports to the Cage Supervisor, Shift Manager, or Cage Manager on duty.

This is a part-time position scheduled Friday through Sunday from 10:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., and every other Thursday from 10:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. Pay is $10.00 per hour, plus an average hourly tip rate of $14.02. Weekly Earned Wage Access is available as an option.

Requirements

• Experience handling large volumes of cash.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
• Knowledge of high-volume cash-handling policies.
• Ability to apply basic math, including arithmetic, ratios, proportions, or conversions.

Responsibilities

• Follow casino procedures when handling money and paying out tickets.
• Ensure required paperwork is signed and included in shift packets for auditing.
• Confirm customers have signed for payouts above the location-set amount before paying the ticket.
• Answer customer and public inquiries about general gaming procedures and payouts.
• Make change and exchange money, credit, tokens, and tickets at customers’ requests.
• Verify customer identification when needed.
• Verify the authenticity of tickets and payout requests.
• Maintain accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transaction reconciliations.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
