About The Position
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Assistant Teachers. This role involves supporting lead teachers in creating a nurturing and educational environment for young children. We offer both Part-Time (PT) and Full-Time (FT) positions, with flexible scheduling options and competitive compensation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (early childhood coursework a plus!)
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for children
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities and lesson plans
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
- Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development
- Help with classroom organization and cleanliness
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff
- Assist with meals, snacks, and toileting/diapering as needed
- Encourage a positive, respectful, and engaging learning environment
