About The Position

Everbrook Academy of Savage is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help provide daily care for children and support an engaging classroom environment. The role involves following licensing guidelines and company standards, keeping the classroom clean and organized, and helping children learn through interactive activities. The Assistant Teacher will develop skills in observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, and communicating with families. Extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics is provided.

Requirements

• Passion for working with children.

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to observe and assess children and plan for their needs.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
