About The Position

Montessori of Alameda is seeking a Bilingual Assistant Primary Teacher to help create a safe, positive learning environment for children. The Assistant Teacher supports the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, prepares and organizes learning materials, and supervises children during activities, meals, and naptime. The role also involves helping lead learning activities, monitoring children’s progress and development, and fostering a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers. The school offers educators a supportive workplace and resources to support their work with students. Requirements

High school diploma required.
Spanish speaking required.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners.

Nice To Haves

Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred.
Prior experience with children preferred.
