About The Position

Kinderhouse Montessori, part of the Endeavor Schools family, is seeking an Assistant Primary Teacher. The role supports the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, preparation and organization of learning materials, and supervision of children during activities, meals, and naptime to maintain a safe, positive learning environment. The teacher helps lead learning activities, supports children's development, monitors their progress, and contributes to a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers.

The starting pay is $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on education and experience. The position includes a $1,000 hiring bonus paid in two $500 installments at three and six months; employees must be in good standing to receive each payout. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center.
• Ability to speak and understand both Spanish and English.
• Prior experience with toddler and preschool students.
• Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet.
• 12 Child Development Education (CDE) units, required by the State of California.
