About The Position

FIGS is hiring an Assistant Store Visual Manager for its new Valley Fair mall store. The role supports the Store Manager in launching and operating the Community Hub, training and developing associates, and delivering an exceptional experience to healthcare professionals. The Assistant Store Visual Manager helps drive sales and profitability through effective management and strategic planning, and collaborates with the retail leadership team to meet store goals. The role oversees visual merchandising execution, brand standards, inventory management, and daily store operations. It also supports recruiting, scheduling, and team development, shares product expertise with customers and associates, and helps foster a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

At least 5 years of retail experience.
At least 2 years managing visual merchandising in a high-volume retail environment.
Action-oriented and results-driven approach.
Ability to motivate others and build effective teams.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to mediate and negotiate to resolve conflict.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Passion for outstanding customer service and proven retail management experience.

Responsibilities

Support all aspects of the initial Community Hub setup and launch.
Ensure FIGS visual merchandising planograms are executed for each launch.
Ensure brand standards are executed, including decal and light box installation, mannequin styling, cleanliness, and organization.
Educate and train team members to build product knowledge and deliver high-quality customer experiences.
Serve as a brand ambassador by sharing product expertise and stories, making recommendations, and training the team.
Assist with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Support the Store Manager in recruiting, training, scheduling, and developing team members.
Provide weekly feedback on product needs to the Store Manager and Director of Visual Merchandising.
Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and inventory accuracy.
Unpack inventory boxes as required; boxes can weigh 5–30 pounds.
Ensure safety and security procedures are followed and communicate potential issues.
Foster a positive, productive, and inspirational work environment.
Be available to work Black Friday and through the holiday season, as defined annually.
