About The Position

FIGS is seeking an experienced retail assistant store manager for its upcoming store at Aventura mall. The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager with retail operations and the development and management of sales associates. The role helps set the tone for the retail team, represent the FIGS brand, and drive business through strong management and customer experiences. The Assistant Store Manager collaborates with the leadership team to build a successful team that meets and exceeds goals.

Requirements

At least 5 years of retail store experience.
At least 2 years managing high-volume retail.
Action-oriented and driven to achieve results.
Ability to motivate others and build effective teams.
Skill in mediating and negotiating to resolve conflict.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Comfort with a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Ability to unpack boxes weighing 5–30 pounds.
Availability to work Black Friday and from the second week of December through the end of the holiday season, as defined annually.

Responsibilities

Ensure the FIGS brand and mission are consistently represented.
Participate in visual merchandising and coach the team on store standards.
Support execution of innovative projects on tight deadlines.
Communicate inventory and product performance needs to the Store Manager weekly.
Spend at least four days per week on the sales floor, leading by example and providing feedback and coaching.
Educate and train the team to deliver a positive customer experience.
Manage and maintain store sales goals.
Unpack inventory boxes as required.
Accurately track hours and expenses and review P&L and income statements for accuracy.
Ensure safety and security procedures are followed and communicate potential issues.
Be available to work Black Friday and during the specified holiday-season period.
