About The Position

Banter by Piercing Pagoda is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help the store achieve its sales and profit projections. The role contributes to customer satisfaction, team development, and effective store operations. The Assistant Store Manager helps maintain standards for individual and team performance, trains and evaluates team members to develop their skills and product knowledge, and participates in recruiting and selecting team members. The role also involves following and enforcing company policies and procedures and performing other operational and strategic duties.

The company offers training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and management and career-development skills. Compensation includes base pay plus sales commission. Some benefits are identified as available to full-time team members.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
• Commitment to excellence, desire to grow, and ability to provide a superior customer experience.
