About The Position

Banter by Piercing Pagoda is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help create a strong customer experience and support store performance. The role assists the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team standards to achieve sales and profit projections, fostering total customer satisfaction, developing team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and recruiting and selecting team members. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties. The company provides training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and skills, and promotes advancement from within.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
