About The Position

Banter by Piercing Pagoda is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and team performance. The role supports individual and team achievement of standards to meet sales and profit projections, contributes to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction, and helps develop team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation. It also involves recruiting and selecting team members, enforcing company policies and procedures, and performing other operational and strategic duties.

The company provides training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and role-related skills, and values integrity, diversity, teamwork, advancement, and a superior customer experience.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team members’ standards achievement to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction.
• Develop team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation.
• Recruit and select team members.
• Follow and enforce all Company policies and procedures.
• Perform other operational and strategic duties.
