About The Position

Zales is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager with daily sales and operational goals. The role helps maintain focus on individual and team performance standards to achieve sales and profit projections, contribute to total customer satisfaction, develop team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and recruit and select team members. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties.

Zales provides training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and other skills to support career development. Compensation is listed at $16.90–$21.20 base pay plus sales commission; the final rate depends on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
